FAQs Frequently Asked Questions about Access Control
What is an access control system?
How does an access control system work?
It’s simple: authorized users present their credentials (like a card or smartphone) at a reader. The system checks their access permissions and instantly unlocks the door—while keeping a detailed log of every entry for your peace of mind.
What types of access control systems are available?
Whether you need basic access for a small office or advanced role-based permissions for a large facility, we’ve got you covered. Choose from flexible solutions like cloud-based, mobile-first, or role-based access control to match your security goals.
Can I manage an access control system from my phone?
Yes! With a cloud-based system, you’re in control—anytime, anywhere. Add or remove users, unlock doors, receive alerts, and monitor activity—all from an easy-to-use app or web dashboard.
Is access control right for my business?
Absolutely. From small storefronts to large campuses, access control systems scale to fit your needs. Protect your people, property, and peace of mind—while simplifying how you manage security.
